I am sure for many, the right to official identification is usually the last item on the list and at times, it never crops up. Did you know that there are about 2.4 billion people in the world today who lack official identification (ID), including children up to the age of 14 whose birth has never been registered and many women in poor rural areas of Africa and Asia?
