FG urged to accommodate stateless persons

A meeting that reviewed a study on statelessness has called on the federal government to amend the Constitution to accommodate stateless persons living in Nigeria. In the validation meeting on the study report on “Statelessness in North-East Nigeria,” organized by the West African Civil Society Forum (WACSOF) in Abuja yesterday, participants said the findings of the study revealed that statelessness is a significant problem in Nigeria.
