Insurgency – to get national eID card – NIMC boss

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has said that it has taken necessary measures to ensure that internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the country get their National eID cards wherever they are.
Director General of NIMC, Mr Chris Onyemenam, who stated this while presenting the Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr Mike Omeri’s e-ID card to him at the NOA’s headquarters in Abuja, said the commission has procured mobile enrolment kits and is currently testing them.
He said “We are working with NEMA to ensure that even if you had enrolled somewhere and then you become an internally displaced persons, it will still be possible for us to ensure that you get your card wherever you,” he explained.
