Sudan: South Sudanese Be Treated As Foreigners From Now On, the Council of Ministers Decided

Sudan on Thursday said South Sudanese resident in the country will be treated as foreigners, revoking a standing policy declared by president Omar al-Bashir that citizens from the nascent nation will be treated as Sudanese in all walks of life in the country they seceded from in 2011.
The official news agency said the Council of Ministers in a meeting chaired by President Bashir, has decided to treat all southerners in Sudan as foreigners when receiving medical and education services, which up to now have been offered on the same footing as Sudanese.
