DAARA Guiglo alongside AFJCI took part in two (2) mass sensitization campaigns on statelessness that gathered 219 people in Blolequin (117) and Daopleu/Guiglo (42)

UNHCR`s Field Protection Assistants and partners AFJCI and DAARA deployed in the Sub-Delegation’s coverage area sensitized a total of 464 persons on the importance of birth registration and the profile of persons at risk of statelessness.

Identification

During the reporting period, UNHCR Field Protection Assistants identified 71 persons at risk of statelessness, including 6 foundlings and 34 other profiles of persons at risk: 06 in Man including one foundling, 07 in Gagnoa including 2 foundlings, 25 in Danané, 23 in Soubré including 03 foundlings, 10 in San Pedro.

Documentation

AFJCI Man proceeded with handing over 06 supplementary birth certificate judgments to YAPLEU.

UNHCR and AFJCI proceeded with handing-over of 12 supplementary birth certificate judgements, 30 certificates of nationality and 02 consular cards to persons at risk of statelessnessat the prefecture of Man.
