ARTICLE 81 : Tout Camerounais justifiant d’une autre nationalit\u00e9 conserve la nationalit\u00e9 camerounaise, sauf r\u00e9pudiation de celle-ci.<\/p>\n
SECTION 81: A Cameroonian who has acquired another nationality shall retain Cameroon nationality unless it is expressly relinquished by the concerned.<\/p>\n
ARTICLE 82 : Est camerounais: a) l’enfant dont l’un des parents est camerounais; b) l’enfant mineur adopt\u00e9 par un parent camerounais.<\/p>\n
SECTION 82: A Cameroonian is: a) a person born of a cameroonian parent ; and b) a minor adopted by a cameroonian parent.<\/p>\n
ARTICLE 83 : (1) Est Camerounais, l\u2019enfant n\u00e9 au Cameroun d\u2019un parent \u00e9galement n\u00e9 au Cameroun, si celui-ci a un parent m\u00eamement n\u00e9 au Cameroun.
\n(2) L\u2019enfant n\u00e9 au Cameroun des parents \u00e9trangers, dont l\u2019un d\u2019eux y est lui-m\u00eame n\u00e9, n\u2019acquiert la nationalit\u00e9 camerounaise que si dans le d\u00e9lai d\u2019un (1) an pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent son accession \u00e0 la majorit\u00e9, en fait souscription dans les formes pr\u00e9vues aux ARTICLES 107 et suivants ci-dessous.
\n(3) Est camerounais, l’enfant n\u00e9 au Cameroun de parents inconnus. Toutefois, il est pr\u00e9sum\u00e9 n’avoir jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 camerounais si, au cours de sa minorit\u00e9, sa filiation est \u00e9tablie \u00e0 l’\u00e9gard d’un \u00e9tranger, et s’il a conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la loi nationale de cet \u00e9tranger, la nationalit\u00e9 de celui-ci.<\/p>\n
SECTION 83: (1) A child born in Cameroon of a parent born in Cameroon shall be a Cameroonian where one of his grandparents was born in Cameroon.
\n(2) A child born in Cameroon to foreign parents, one of whom was born in Cameroon, shall acquire Cameroon nationality where within one year preceding his attaining majority, he applies for it in accordance with the forms provided for in section 107 and following below.
\n(3) A child born in Cameroon of unknown parents shall be a Cameroonian. However, he shall be deemed not to have ever been a\u00a0 cameroonian where as a minor, his affiliation is established with regards to a foreigner and where in accordance with the national law of that foreigner, he takes the foreigner\u2019s nationality.<\/p>\n
ARTICLE 84 : L’enfant nouveau-n\u00e9 trouv\u00e9 au Cameroun est pr\u00e9sum\u00e9, jusqu’\u00e0 preuve de contraire, \u00eatre n\u00e9 au Cameroun.<\/p>\n
SECTION 84: Except there is proof to the contrary, a new born baby found in Cameroon shall be presumed to be born in Cameroon.<\/p>\n
ARTICLE 85 : La nationalit\u00e9 camerounaise est acquise de plein droit, par le seul fait de la naissance sur le territoire camerounais, \u00e0 toute personne ne pouvant se pr\u00e9valoir d’aucune autre nationalit\u00e9 d\u2019origine.<\/p>\n
SECTION 85: Cameroon nationality shall, by the mere fact of being born in Cameroon, be acquired as of right, where the person possesses no other nationality of origin.<\/p>\n
