The Parliament should amend abusive citizenship laws so that they comply with Egypt\u2019s international human rights obligations.<\/p>\n<p>On December 24, 2020, Egypt\u2019s Official Gazette <a href=\"https:\/\/www.almasryalyoum.com\/news\/details\/2197197\">published<\/a> the government\u2019s decision, signed by Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, to strip Naguib, who lives abroad, of her Egyptian nationality.
