{"id":32491,"date":"2021-05-25T11:38:47","date_gmt":"2021-05-25T11:38:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/?p=32491"},"modified":"2021-07-26T12:05:10","modified_gmt":"2021-07-26T12:05:10","slug":"arab-league-towards-an-action-plan-on-belonging-and-legal-identity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/en\/arab-league-towards-an-action-plan-on-belonging-and-legal-identity\/","title":{"rendered":"Arab League: Towards a Regional Action Plan on Belonging and Legal Identity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 25 May 2021, LAS in cooperation with UNHCR and the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers\u2019 Council organized <strong>the regional meeting: Towards a Regional Action Plan on Belonging and Legal Identity,<\/strong> in the presence of representatives from the Ministries of Interior, Justice, and Foreign Affairs at member state countries as well as representatives of regional and international organizations, and partners from the civil society. Participants worked on preparing a regional action plan to facilitate the implementation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/arab-declaration-on-belonging-and-legal-identity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arab Declaration on Belonging and Legal Identity<\/a> that was issued under the auspices of the Republic of Tunisia in February 2018.
