Register<\/p>\n<p>(1) The Principal Registrar shall cause to be kept a register of all persons in Kenya to whom this Act applies, in which there shall be entered the following particulars in respect of each person\u2014<\/p>\n<p>(a) registration number;<br \/>\n(b) name (in full);<br \/>\n(c) sex;<br \/>\n(d) (i) county of birth; or (ii) county of residence;<br \/>\n(e) date of birth or apparent age, and place of birth;<br \/>\n(f) occupation, profession, trade or employment;<br \/>\n(g) place of residence and postal address, Global Positioning Systems coordinates, Land Reference Number, Plot Number or House Number, if any;<br \/>\n(h) finger and thumb impressions but in case of missing fingers and thumbs, palm or toe or palm and toe impressions in physical form;<br \/>\n(ha) biometric data;<br \/>\n(i) date of registration;<br \/>\n(j) such other particulars as may be prescribed.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Any public, officer, duly authorized by the Minister in writing in that behalf, may, in the exercise of his official duties, inspect the register and make extracts therefrom.<\/p>\n<p>Download: <a href=\"http:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Kenya-RegistrationofPersonsAct33of1947-amended-2018.pdf\">Kenya RegistrationofPersonsAct33of1947 amended 2018<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Incorporating amendments made by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) No. 18 of 2018.
