SI 2024-008<\/p>\n

IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage has, in terms of section 22 of the Citizenship of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 4:01], made the following regulations:\u2014<\/p>\n

1. These regulations may be cited as the Citizenship (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 (No. 23).<\/p>\n

2. The Second Schedule to the Citizenship Regulations, 1970 in Rhodesia Government Notice No. 215 of 1970, is repealed and the following is substituted\u2014<\/p>\n

(iii)<\/td>\nby SADC descendants under section 9A of the Act<\/td>\n50<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6<\/td>\nInitial registration as a citizen of a foreign person who is applying on the basis of permanent residence:<\/td>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
(i)<\/td>\nAdult (Strictly USD)<\/td>\n5000<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
(ii)<\/td>\nMinor (Strictly USD)<\/td>\n5000<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

3. The Citizenship (Amendment) Regulations, 2009 (No. 22), published in Statutory Instrument 12 of 2009, are repealed.<\/p>\n
