The Committee\u2019s list of issues and questions is contained in CEDAW\/C\/BDI\/Q\/4 and the responses of Burundi are contained in CEDAW\/C\/BDI\/Q\/4\/Add.1.<\/p>\n<p>Extract:<\/p>\n<p>29. The Committee notes with concern that article 4 of the Nationality Code does not comply with article 9 of the Convention because it does not allow a Burundian woman married to a foreigner to transmit her nationality to her husband or children on the same basis as a Burundian man married to a foreigner.<\/p>\n<p>30.
