{"id":25950,"date":"2019-09-06T16:44:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-06T16:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/?p=25950"},"modified":"2020-01-09T16:45:23","modified_gmt":"2020-01-09T16:45:23","slug":"zambia-to-eradicate-statelessness-through-national-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/fr\/zambia-to-eradicate-statelessness-through-national-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Zambia to eradicate statelessness through national plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zambia has announced a National Action Plan to battle the statelessness becoming the first country in the SADC region which decided to implement such policies.<\/p>\n<p>This comes 5 years after the United Nations launched its decade-long campaign aimed at ending the devastating legal limbo of statelessness which affects millions and millions of people globally.<\/p>\n<p>In order to support such an initiative, the Zambian government has formed a National Taskforce comprised of various departments\u2019 and agencies\u2019 members and experts.
