Decision of the African Commission in a case alleging discrimination against \u00ab\u00a0Dioula\u00a0\u00bb in Cote d’Ivoire on the basis of nationality and other grounds, and finding Cote d’Ivoire in violation of Articles 1, 2, 3, 5, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 and 22 of the African Charter.<\/p>\n
The Commission recommends amendments to the constitution and \u00ab\u00a0Particularly recommends that the Republic of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire should ensure that its nationality law should be consistent with the provisions of Articles 2 and 5 of the Charter, the relevant provisions of the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child and the United Nations Conventions on Statelessness, in the strict respect of the relevant international Directives on the matter.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
