{"id":7699,"date":"2005-07-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2005-07-06T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/sudan-interim-constitution-2005\/?lang=fr"},"modified":"2021-10-08T10:29:21","modified_gmt":"2021-10-08T10:29:21","slug":"sudan-interim-constitution-2005","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/fr\/sudan-interim-constitution-2005\/","title":{"rendered":"Sudan Interim Constitution, 2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Article 7 on Citizenship and Nationality<\/span> provides:<\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(1) <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Citizenship shall be the basis for equal rights and duties for all <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Sudanese. <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(2) <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Every person born to a Sudanese mother or father shall have <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">an <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">inalienable<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">right <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">enjoy <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Sudanese <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">nationality <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">citizenship. <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(3) <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The law shall regulate citizenship and naturalization; no <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">naturalized Sudanese shall be deprived of his\/her acquired <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">citizenship except in accordance with the law. <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(4) <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">A Sudanese national may acquire the nationality of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">another country as shall be regulated by law. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Download complete text: <a href=\"http:\/\/citizenshiprightsafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Sudan-Interim-Constitution-2005.pdf\" rel=\"\">Sudan Interim Constitution 2005 <\/a>(PDF, 505 kb)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Article 7 on Citizenship and Nationality provides: (1) Citizenship shall be the basis for equal rights and duties for all Sudanese.
