“The aim of this paper is to determine how children form part of Namibian citizenry: for example, in what ways do children acquire such status? What requirements need to be met before they can attain citizenship? Do any rights accrue to them based on such citizenship? What is the possibility of children losing their right to citizenship? The paper will also critically probe some of the issues that have arisen with regard to citizenship in relation to children.”
