The Makonde and Wapemba communities living at the Kenyan Coast and who have been stateless for more than 50 years today commenced a trek to State House Nairobi to present their case before President Uhuru Kenyatta. Those participating in the walk rejected calls by Coast Regional Commissioner Nelson Marwa to call off their journey, assuring them that the matter would be discussed in the Cabinet next week.
