Leadership Friday observed that people, most traders of Igbo extract, were busy loading their belongings into vehicles, Marcopolo buses and trailers. The garage which usually sees an influx of travellers, has its peak period during the yuletide season when people go home to spend the Christmas holidays and return after the New year. This time, the large number of travellers is a bit unusual but apparently they were heading towards the southern parts of the country in their droves, because the elections were drawing nearer.
What caught LEADERSHIP Friday’s attention wasn’t just the movement of travellers, but that they seemed to have packed their whole household, as Chairs, beds, mattresses, wardrobes, stoves, pots and other household properties were noticed inside the Buses and trailers around Kpagungu in Minna and other parts of the state capital Minna.
