Zambia: Banda, Chinula Should Be Returned, Rules African Rights Commission

Lusaka — The African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights have ruled that the remains of John Chinula should be brought back to Zambia from Malawi for reburial and deported William Banda be allowed to return to Zambia to reunite with his family and also be granted citizenship.

These findings have been endorsed by the Southern African Human Rights Non Governmental Organisation Network (SAHRINGON) who also stated that Zambia had been found guilty of violating 7 articles of the African Charter for which she is a signatory.
