MMANDUNYANE: The government’s decision to order the Bazezuru tribe to renounce their Zimbabwean citizenships has breed friction between the tribe and the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs.

The tribe has requested the Minister, Edwin Batshu to meet with them in order to clarify the issue. The Gazette understands that Batshu was scheduled to address some members of the tribe living in Mmandunyane last week Thursday but the meeting was postponed at the last minute due to the unavailability of some of the leaders of Bazezuru.

Information reaching The Gazette indicates that the leaders deliberately boycotted the meeting in order to express their displeasure. He pointed out that the boycott signals displeasure on the service delivery of the ministry.
